Manteca are progressing along well. There are two stubbed up vent lines on
the eastern side of the property (see highlighted:on attached figure), that will
need to be abandoned as well. My field staff discussed this with Johnny
Yoakum today and Johnny indicated that these do not need to be permitted
since they are not advanced into groundwater and are not groundwater or
remediation wells. Johnny also stated that these can be grouted (not under
pressure). The screen appears to be in the tank basin:limits of the former UST
area, which is pea gravel. I would suggest that a thicker grout be used to
minimize the amount of grout entering the pea gravel UST basin.
Do you concur that these do not need a permit and can be grouted as
described? Also, please advise if you will need the top of the casing removed
or not.
Attached is a photo taken today from the field of the vent lines.
Thank you,
Danielle
Danielle Manning,
Project Manager
Stantec
3017 Kilgore Road,Suite 100 Rancho Cordova CA 95670-6150
Phone: (916) 384-0706
Cell: (916) 28174942
Fax: (916) 861-0430
danielle.marining@stantec.com
Stantec
The content of this email is the confidential property of Stantec and should not be copied, modified,
retransmitted,or used for any purpose except with Stantec's written authorization. If you are not the intended
recipient, please delete all copies and notify us immediately.
Please consider the environment before printing this email.
7/14/2014
