Check this by grabbing all the fittings with your <br /> fingers and seeing if any fittings rotate. Swagelok fittings should not.rotate. The only fittings <br /> that can rotate are the quick-disconnect fittings when they the male and female are connected <br /> to each other. <br /> Purging Soil Vapor Probes Tubing <br /> This procedure is for purging the soil gas tubing through the sampling assembly. <br /> 1. Connect sampling assembly to soil vapor probe tubing. Use %4" adapter as necessary. <br /> 2. Connect male quick-disconnect to 3-way valve on 60 cc plastic syringe (photo 2). <br /> 3. Purge dead-volume using syringe (photo 3). Purge 3 internal dead-volumes unless <br /> otherwise instructed to do so. Dead volume of 1/8" nylaflow is 1 cc per foot; dead <br /> volume of"/" tubing is 4 cc per foot. BEWARE, STEM ON 3-WAY VALVE POINTS TO <br /> OFF.
