A dual-nested well will be constructed at this location. The shallower well
will be screened from 10 to 30 feet below ground surface (BGS),and the deeper screened interval will be _
from 45 to 50 feet BGS or deeper depending on site conditions. The proposed monitoring well in
northwest area of the Work Plan map will be relocated to an area between GP-1 and the former
underground storage tanks(USTs) (Figure 2). Once the proposed monitoring wells have been constructed
a professional survey team will survey the top of casing (TOC)for each well relative to mean sea level. The
surveyors will identify the local point of reference. All survey information will be included in the well
installation report at the conclusion of all work related to the Work Plan.
A well survey will be conducted to locate all domestic, municipal, agricultural and industrial supply wells
within a 2,000 foot radius of the site. Fluor Daniel GTI personnel will contact the Department of Water
Resources and the City of Manteca municipal water suppliers in order to determine pertinent well location
and construction.
