El Dorado St. <br /> Stockton, CA 95206 <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health <br /> Division (PHS/EHD) has received and reviewed correspondence from <br /> Aegis Environmental dated September 23 , 1992 and has the following <br /> comments. <br /> Soil removed during recent tank removal operations may be returned <br /> to the excavated area. This soil has been contaminated with <br /> petroleum hydrocarbons as well as soil still remaining in the <br /> excavation and will require remediation. In addition, soil borings <br /> will be required to verify completion of any remediation that may <br /> be proposed by Exxon and approved by PHS/EHD in the future. <br /> A workplan addressing the next phase of site mitigation shall be <br /> submitted within sixty (60) days of this correspondence. <br /> Quarterly monitoring of existing monitoring wells shall continue <br /> and reports shall be submitted to PHS/EHD and the Regional Water <br /> Quality Control Board, Central Valley Region until the <br /> investigation and cleanup of the site is deemed adequate.
