y <br /> Prapafad Work Flan for ketdbdM of <br /> Throe On Ws Weft end Aamlta Nevart <br /> %M South FL Dorado.Stockton,Cattlornta <br /> ANALYTICAL LABORATORY ANALYSES AND DETECTION LIMITS <br /> The selected soil and groundwater samples will be analyzed following the San Joaquin <br /> County Public Health Services Department's "Minimum Verification Laboratory Analysis" <br /> Chart for concentrations of: TPPH, BTEX, EDB,and EDC by CAL DHS method and EPA <br /> Method 8240/8260 - (GC/MS) extracted by EPA Method 5030 (purge-and-trap). In <br /> addition, the samples will be tested for total lead constituents by Flame AA, EPA <br /> Method 7420. <br /> The laboratory to be used for the analyses discussed above is tentatively identified as <br /> Coast-to-Coast Analytical Services of Napa, California, a state-certified analytical <br /> laboratory. <br /> The maximum detection limits for the soil/groundwater analyses are as follows: <br /> Soil/Groundwater - <br /> a) For TPPH as gasoline, the detection limits are 1.0/0.05 ppm; <br /> b) For BTEX, the detection limits are 0.005/0.0005 ppm; <br /> c) For EDC, the detection limits are 0.005/0.0005 ppm; <br /> d) For EDB, the detection limits are 0.005/0.00002 ppm; and, <br /> e) For total lead, the detection limits are 5 ppm for both groundwater and soil. <br /> In addition, a spike peak, surrogate sample and standards will be run to ensure quality <br /> assurance, quality control of the analyses (SOP-5, Attachment 2). <br /> REPORTING <br /> A Results Report will be prepared after receipt of the analytical results. The report will be <br /> factual in nature, presenting the results of the investigation. Further work,as necessary, <br /> will be addressed in subsequent work plans. <br /> -_ _-._-_--The-report_of t11e proposed investigation will include, but not necessarily be limited to: a) <br /> discussions of the site background, investigative methods used-arid local <br /> hydrogeology; b) a review of any prior environmental investigations,tank testing or other <br /> related work, as available and appropriate; c) boring logs; d) laboratory analytical data, <br /> and e) laboratory reports and chain-of-custody forms. <br /> t <br /> 91-044&RF+f - - - <br />
