THEY ARE SELLING SEA <br />FOOD WITHOUT PROPER CARE. THERE IS RAT FECES ON THE BAR COUNTER WHERE THEY PLACE THE FOOD." <br />DESCRIPTION OF COMPLAINT ALLEGATIONS <br />Environmental Health Department <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br />Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br />113700. All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodborne illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br /> #15 Food from Approved Source Major <br />OBSERVATIONS: Per owner, a former employee was in charge of purchasing the shrimp for the micheladas. He is unsure <br />of the source. He states that te shrimp were seasoned at the employee's home. <br />Do not serve the remaining shrimp that is on site today to customers. <br />New shrimp must be purchased from an approved source (grocery store, distributor, etc.) and must be prepared (thawed, <br />seasoned, etc.) on site only. No food preparation may occur elsewhere. <br />Catered prepared food may be brought in from a permitted food facility. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: All food shall be obtained from an approved source.
