(AGE) has <br /> prepared the enclosed Well Destruction Report for 1700 South EI Dorado Street, <br /> Stockton, California. Temporary soil-vapor points had previously been installed at the <br /> site as part of a Phase II environmental site investigation. <br /> INTRODUCTION/BACKGROUND <br /> A total of seven (7) temporary soil-vapor wells (VP-1 through VP-7) were installed on- <br /> site as part of the subsurface investigation at 1700 South EI Dorado Street, Stockton, <br /> California. The seven soil-vapor wells were installed on the property in July 2015. Soil- <br /> vapor well VP-1 was installed to a total depth of 10 feet below surface grade (bsg) using <br /> a van-mounted, Geoprobe 5400 direct-push probing unit equipped with 1.25-inch <br /> diameter probing rods. Soil-vapor wells VP-2 through VP-7 were installed to total depths <br /> of 5 feet bsg using a 4-inch diameter hang auger. The site and surrounding area are <br /> illustrated in Figure 1. On-site structures and soil boring locations are illustrated in <br /> Figure 2. <br /> Well destruction activities were conducted in January 2016. All wells were destroyed <br /> under San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (SJCEHD) permit and <br /> directive letter dated 01 September 2015, which have been included in Appendix A. <br /> PROCEDURES <br /> Well destruction activities were performed on 11 January 2015 by AGE. Soil-vapor point <br /> VP-1 was removed/destroyed by over-drilling the well to the total depth of 10 feet bsg <br /> utilizing a 2.75-inch diameter hand auger; VP-2 through VP-7 were removed/destroyed <br /> 837 Shaw Road• Stockton,CA 95215 <br /> Telephone(209)467-1006• Fax(209)467-1118 <br />
