N r Quick N Save No . 1 Page 2 of 2 1901 South EI Dorado Street December 8, 2014 Stockton , California 95206 The EHD concurs with recommendations presented by AGE and directs that a work plan be submitted to define the vertical and lateral extent of the petroleum hydrocarbon contamination in soil and groundwater north and east of CPT-5 , and south and east of CPT-8. The EHD also directs that a work plan be submitted to this agency to install additional monitoring wells adjacent to locations where CPT-5 and CPT-8 were advanced . Included in the 24 April 2014 EHD letter was a directive to submit a sensitive receptor survey report due to this agency on 30 July 2014 . To date, the EHD has not received this report. You are now directed to submit the sensitive receptor survey report to the EHD by 31 January 2015. Also prepare and submit a conceptual site model that describes current conditions at this site and provides the following information: Local and regional plan view maps showing locations of sources , extent of contaminants (i .e. , an interpretive drawing — not merely a plot of laboratory results) , direction and rate of groundwater flow, and locations of receptors. 'Receptors" include , but are not limited to, all supply wells within 2 , 000 feet of the source area ; • Cross-sections showing subsurface geologic features, depth of groundwater, man-made conduits , monitoring well construction, and an interpretive drawing of the vertical extent of soil contamination; • Plots of key chemical concentrations versus time (for example, plots should be shown for monitoring wells that demonstrate significant trends in contaminant concentrations) ; • Summary tables of chemical concentrations in different media ; • Dissolved and adsorbed contamination mass estimates supported by calculations; and • Boring and well logs (including well construction details) . Submit the conceptual site model, work plan to delineate the petroleum hydrocarbon contamination east, northeast and southeast of this site, and work plan to install additional monitoring wells to the EHD by 13 February 2015.
