EI Dorado, Stockton, CA: 4th Quarter 2014
Attachments: doc02O74420141104133005. pdf
Ms. McCartney,
I have attached the 4th Quarter 2014 monitoring results as mentioned in my phone message to you this morning
for the QNS #1 site located at 1901 S. EI Dorado Street, Stockton, CA. Significant impact still remains above Low
Threat Closure Policy thresholds onsite in well MW-3. Furthermore, the intermediate zone plume, based on
monitoring and July 2014 CPT data, suggests that the plume is still highly undefined to the east of the site and
boring locations advanced in July 2014. AGE has recommended, in a forthcoming monitoring report (4th Quarter
2014), that the onsite DPE system be reactivated and that additional assessment be performed for the
intermediate zone east of the site; assessment recommendations have also been made in a previously
submitted CPT Report. Lastly, it is AGE's opinion that closure of the site is not warranted at this time, as
previously recommended .
In my phone message to you I also mentioned that the tank fund has denied a budget change order for continual
remediation and assessment of the plume due to the potential closure nature of the site; recommendations
made prior to rebound monitoring. If EHD is in agreement that additional remediation and assessment is
warranted, a new budget change order will need to be submitted with a letter from EHD, agreeing with AGE's
recommendations.
The 4th Quarter 2014 for the report is in PG review internally and will be available to EHD either by the end of
the week or next week.
Please let me know if you have any questions, or require any further clarification .
Regards,
Daniel Villanueva
Project Geologist
Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc.
Stockton • Los Angeles • San Francisco Bay Area • Monterey • Spokane • Seattle
Portland • Reno • Dallas
Phone : 800-511 -9300
Fax: 888-445-8786
dvillanueva@ advgeoenv. corn
www. advgeoenv. com
11 /5/2014
