Off-Site Assessment Work Plan
QUICK N SAVE #1
1901 South EI Dorado Street, Stockton , California
1 .0 . INTRODUCTION
At the request of Mr. Mohamad Matar, Advanced GeoEnvironmental , Inc. (AGE) has
prepared this Off-Site Assessment Work Plan for 1901 South EI Dorado Street ,
Stockton , California (site) . The work plan was prepared as required by the San Joaquin
County Environmental Health Department (SJCEHD) letter dated 08 J41 d9 2014 , to
continue delineation of the lateral extent of petroleum hydrocarbon-impact to
groundwater plume, specifically off-site east approximately 300 feet downgradient of
site , east monitoring well MW-5 and cone penetration testing (CPT) borings CPT-5 and
CPT-8 . A copy of the SJCEHD directive letter is included in Appendix A. 11
OAA,
The location of the site is illustrated on Figure 1 ; a plan of the site is illustrated on Figure
2 . A map detailing offsite boring locations is included as Figure 3 :This work plan was
prepared in accordance with the CVRWQCB guidelines for the investigation of
underground storage tank (UST) sites .
2 .0. SCOPE OF WORK
Based on analytical data from monitoring well MW-5 (north side of 5th Street located
east of South EI Dorado Street) and CPT borings CPT-5 (west sidewalk of Hunter
Street) , CPT-6 (alley way north 5th street) and CPT-8 (alley way directly south of 5th
street) — data in Table 1 ; the lateral , down-gradient extent of the hydrocarbon-impacted
groundwater is not defined generally off-site and east of the UST area in the
intermediate water bearing zone (generally defined as the 75 to 80 foot below surface
grade [bsg] zone . The SJCEHD has required that additional groundwater investigation
be performed to define and confirm the lateral extent of the dissolved petroleum
hydrocarbon contamination east of MW-5 and CPT borings CPT-5 and CPT-8 ( Figures
2 and 3) . Table 3 summarizes groundwater analytical results from the site . The
proposed scope of work will include the following tasks :
• Permitting and pre-field work activities ;
• Soil boring advancement and sample collection ;
• Installation of additional intermediate zone wells ; and
• Report preparation .
Each of these tasks is described in greater detail below.
Advanced GeoEnvironmentnl Inc.
