1. 1 <br /> 5) Results of laboratory analysis of groundwater samples from MW-1 indicate Benzene at <br /> 1100 parts per billion (ppb). The Maximum Contaminant Level for Benzene in drinking <br /> water is 1 ppb. The cleanup level for Benzene under the Central Valley Regional Water <br /> Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) basin plan is background. When the lateral extent <br /> of the <br /> begin.groundwater plume has been defined, remediation of the groundwater plume may <br /> PHS/EHD recommends installation of 2..additional monitoring wells to determine gradient and <br /> the extent of the groundwater plume. Soil data from the monitoring wells may provide <br /> additional data to define the extent of soil contamination from 36 feet to groundwater. <br /> In order to remain in compliance with Article 11 of the California Code of Regulations (CCR <br /> Article 11), the corrective action regulations, a workplan for the installation of two additional <br /> monitoring wells shall be submitted to PHS/EHD by March 30, 1995. Quarterly monitoring of <br /> the monitoring wells shall continue until,the site receives closure status.
