El Dorado St.
' Stockton, CA
Project No 723 2
January 19, 2004
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
' This report summarizes the 4" Quarter 2003 round of groundwater monitoring and testing
that took place on November 26, 2003 The laboratory results indicate that detectable
concentrations of the aromatic hydrocarbon compounds (BTEX) and gasoline range
petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH-G) are present in all eight monitoring wells on site Deep
well MW-201 again contained only trace contamination which supports a conclusion that
the initial contamination detected in the well was a drilling artifact
Theavera roundwater elevation ed —27 08 feet mean sea level in the wells and this
g g
' corresponds to about 37 feet below grade surface (bgs) This elevation is a decrease of
approximately 0 45 feet since the September 12, 2003 monitoring event Groundwater
gradient calculations show that groundwater flow is N71°E at 0 0061 ft/ft This is
consistent with the site's historical directions that have been predominantly to the northeast
Geological Technics Inc (GTI) supervised the installation of three multi-chambered wells
' on November 20 — 26, 2003 The initial sampling of the wells is scheduled for the first
quarter of 2004 and this will allow the site conceptual model to be refined
Field evidence recorded during borehole installation indicates that contamination is present
on the adjacent property across N El Dorado Street — an active Shell service station San
Joaquin County inspector Mr Jeff Wong provided GTI staff a copy of a groundwater
