El Dorado St.
Stockton, CA
Project No 723 2
' November 13, 2003
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
' This report summarizes the Yd Quarter 2003 round of groundwater monitoring and testing
that took place on September 12, 2003 The laboratory results indicate that detectable
concentrations of the aromatic hydrocarbon compounds (BTEX) and gasoline range
petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH-G) are present in seven of eight monitoring wells on site
Deep well MW-201 was free of contamination for the first time since it's installation This
supports a conclusion that the initial contamination detected in the well was a drilling
artifact
The groundwater elevation averaged --26 63 feet mean sea level in the wells and this
' corresponds to about 37 feet below grade surface (bgs) This elevation is a decrease of
approximately 3 82 feet since the June 25, 2003 monitoring event Groundwater gradient
calculations show that groundwater flow is N60°E at 0 0058 ft/ft This is consistent with the
site's historical directions that have been predominantly to the northeast
' In our June 27, 2002 work plan and subsequent addenda Geological Technics Inc (GTI)
proposed additional site investigation work to define the lateral extent of the groundwater
plume This work has been approved by San Joaquin County but obtaining encroachment
permits from the City of Stockton is still pending GTI anticipates receiving the permits in
November 2003 at which time the drilling can be scheduled
r
