R
r
I
Frank Girardi [EH]
From: Murphy, Mike [mrmurphy@craworld.com]
Sent: Monday, November 19, 2007 5:34 PM
To: Frank Girardi [EH]
Subject: 2320 N. EI Dorado, Stockton
Importance: High
Frank,
i
Nice talking with you this afternoon. I just want to confirm what we agreed upon regarding your October 11, 2007
letter to Shell regarding the referenced site.
Item 1)Source Contamination: CRA will address this item following completion of site investigation activities as
discuss below. This will allow us to obtain additional site assessment data including vertical assessment data
which will help prepare a more thorough response. Therefore, the due date of 12/3/07 for item one is no longer
applicable. We will implement site investigation and reporting following approval of our pending work plan.
Item 2) Further Site Assessment Needed: We will submit a site investigation work plan by December 3, 2007 to
urther assess the vertical and horizontal extent of impacted soil and groundwater beneath the site as warranted.
An updated SCM will be submitted with the site investigation report following completion of field work.
,/Item 3)Source of PCE and TCE: Our file review did not identify the location of the waste oil tank. I am trying to
get copies of Shell's historical files to hopefully figure out where it was. Hopefully, I will have the files before work
plan submittal. I will give you an update in the work plan.
Item 4) 1,-DCA and EDB: I have made the changes to the groundwater monitoring program as requested.
Let me know if you have any additional comments or questions.
Thanks,
Mike
Mike Murphy
Conestoga-Rovers &Associates (CRA)
19449 Riverside Drive, Suite 230
Sonoma, CA 95476
P.
