(Aegis) presents this tank closure report <br /> p for the Shell Oil Company (Shell) retail gasoline station located at <br /> 2320 North E1 Dorado Street in Stockton (San Joaquin County) , <br /> California'. <br /> i i Purpose <br /> - The purpose of this report is to: <br /> ry o Present environmental assessment information acquired during the <br /> tank-',closure/tank-replacement construction activities. <br /> i o Present results of mitigation of soils containing petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons by over-excavation in and below the underground fuel <br /> storage tank system. <br /> 1.2 Work Performed <br /> o Representative soil samples were collected from locations beneath <br /> the excavated underground storage tanks and product piping <br /> according to the "Tri-Regional Guidelines" of the Regional Water <br /> Quality Control Boards, and under the direction of a <br /> representative from the San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> Division (SJCEHD) . <br /> o To determine the effectiveness of the over-excavation, soil <br /> samples were collected for chemical analysis from the enlarged <br /> j storage tank pit and product line trenches. <br /> it o Stockpiled soils were sampled for chemical analysis in accordance <br /> withrSJCEHD requirements. <br /> u <br /> lte-certified laboratory for <br /> o Submitted all soil samples to a sta <br /> analysis of petroleum hydrocarbons according to the methods <br /> described in Appendix B. <br /> o Arranged for the disposal of the stockpiled soil, including <br /> permits, as a non-hazardous waste to the West Contra Costa <br /> Sanitary Landfill (WCCSL) . <br /> o Reviewed data obtained and prepared a report of the <br /> assessment. <br /> I <br /> J <br />
