• 3267 McKinley Avenue put in a domestic well. The well is constructed of 6 5/8-inch well <br /> casing , drilled to a depth of 150 feet. <br /> • 3436 South Odell put in a domestic well on 3-4-53. The well is constructed of 6-inch <br /> well casing , drilled to a depth of 100 feet with a casing to 77 feet. <br /> • 3506 Harvey put in a domestic well on 5-5-52. The well is constructed of 6-inch well <br /> casing , drilled to a depth of 120 feet with a casing to 70 feet. <br /> • 646 South California Street put in a domestic well on 1 -13-88. The well is constructed <br /> of 6-inch well casing , drilled to a depth of 115 feet with a bentonite seal to 50 feet. <br /> • 3607 Harvey put in a domestic well. The well is constructed of 6-inch well casing , drilled <br /> to a depth of 100 feet with a casing to 71 feet. <br /> All the drinking wells are located upstream from Cal Tk based on the groundwater flow <br /> direction reported by S-P, and are thus not likely to be affected by any contamination found <br /> at 3105 South EI Dorado Street. <br /> 6.0 RECOMMENDATIONS <br /> In order to determine the vertical and lateral extent of contamination from the former USTs, <br /> it is recommended that additional bore holes and groundwater monitoring wells be installed . <br /> All borings will be advanced , using a nominal 8-inch diameter truck mounted hollow-stem <br /> auger. This will be continued to a depth of 50 feet and until two (2) consecutive samples do <br /> not show contamination by field measures, with soil sampling at 5 foot intervals starting at <br /> 15 feet below grade. A minimum of four (4) soil samples will be selected for analysis for <br /> TPHg , TPHd , TPHo, BTEX and MTBE , at least two (2) of which will be from the saturated <br /> zone. In addition , a groundwater sample will be secured for analysis for TPHg , TPHd , <br /> TPHo, BTEX, MTBE, TBA, DIPE , ETBE and TAME. <br /> The specific actions include: <br /> 1 . Pump the floating oil from MW-2 quarterly until it no longer appears.
