Quarterly Report - Fourth Quarter 2000 <br /> PACIFIC PRIDE'- SOUTH EL DORADO STREET <br /> ' 3147 South El Dorado Street, Stockton, California <br /> t1.0. INTRODUCTION <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this quarterly report (4' quarter 2000) for <br /> ' the site located at 3147 South El Dorado Street, Stockton, California The site setting is illustrated <br /> on Figure 1 Site structures and monitoring well locations are depicted on Figure 2 <br /> ' The objective of fourth quarter investigation activities was to characterize, assess and monitor <br /> concentrations of petroleum hydrocarbons in soil and ground water and to characterize ground water <br /> ' flow direction and gradient at the site This report was prepared in accordance with guidelines <br /> established by the California Regional Water Quality Control Board - Central Valley Division for <br /> investigation of underground storage tank (UST) sites A summary of previous investigations <br /> ' conducted at the site was included in Preliminary Investigation and Evaluation Report-June 1999, <br /> dated 26 July 1999, prepared by AGE <br /> The following is a brief summary of second quarter site assessment activities performed <br /> • 04 December 2000 - Installation of ground water monitoring well MW-5 <br /> • 05 December 2000 - Installation of ground water monitoring well MW-6 <br /> • 26 December 2000 - Installation of ground water monitoring well MW-7 <br /> ' • 28 December 2000- Quarterly groundwater monitoring and sampling event at wells MW-1 <br /> through MW-7 <br /> ' 2.0. DRILLING PROCEDURES <br /> On 04, 05 and 26 December 2000, soil bonngs/momtonng wells MW-5, MW-6 and MW-7 were <br /> ' installed at the site Ground water monitoring well installation procedures for the site were outlined <br /> in Addendum to Monitoring Well Installation Work Plan - September 2000, dated 29 September <br /> 2000,prepared by AGE and approved by the PHS-EHD by letter dated 15 October 2000 <br /> Soil bonng/monitonng wells MW-5, MW-6 and MW-7 were advanced at the site as part of <br /> assessment activities related to the former USTs at the site Soil borings MW-5 and MW-6 were <br /> ' advanced vertically to depths of 100 feet and 40 feet bsg, respectively, utilizing a CME-75 high <br /> torque,truck-mounted drill ng equipped with 8-inch diameter hollow-stem augers, a B-55 limited <br /> access drill rig(LAR) equipped with 8-inch diameter hollow stem augers was utilized to advance <br /> ' soil boring MW-7 to a depth of 40 feet bsg due to utility electrical wires located above the field work <br /> area All soil cuttings generated from drilling activities were stockpiled on and covered by plastic <br /> sheeting at the site, soil bonng/monitonng well locations are depicted in Figure 2 <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br />
