The purpose of the Feasibility Study was to
summarize all available information regarding the gasoline release at the subject site and to
assess the feasibility of four possible strategies to 'mitigate it. The Feasibility Study
concluded that the method most likely to achieve an adequate level of mitigation in a
reasonable time is the simultaneous application of vapor extraction and air sparging.
1.: On September 29, 2003, the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department directed
that a detailed Corrective Action Plan (CAP) be prepared and submitted documenting the
methods and protocols to be used in the work outlined in the Feasibility Study. This current
document is a detailed work plan intended to address these issues..
If you have questions about the content of the Work Plan or need additional information,
please contact me.
