El Dorado Street <br /> Stockton, California <br /> } <br /> Project No. 102.2 } 4 <br /> 20 April 1999 <br /> 1.0 INTRODUCTION � <br /> L <br /> Groundwater monitoring wells were installed at the site in March of 1998 (see <br /> i Report: Groundwater Monitoring Well Installation and Winter 1998 <br /> Groundwater Monitoring, Cutter Lumber Site, dated April 24, 1998). The initial <br /> round of groundwater sampling was also completed at that time. This report <br /> documents the fifth quarterly round of groundwater sampling completed on ' <br /> ,i March 24, 1999 along with two depth to water measurements completed at the <br /> site in January and March 2, 1999. <br /> S <br /> 1.1 Site History <br /> I The site of the subjectg asoline release was discovered as a result of a <br /> groundwater monitoring event at the Western Lift Site in the southerly part of <br /> the subject Property (as shown in Figures 1, 2) during which a sample was <br /> collected from an on-site domestic well. After a review of historic records, a : <br /> 1 <br /> ' former 1,000 gallon underground gasoline tank and an above ground diesel tank I <br /> were identified along the western Property margin in the north central portion <br /> of the site. Subsequent soil borings confirmed that the release had impacted the , <br /> vadose zone soil and the groundwater.
