,z <br /> ,w} <br /> ❑0� GROUNDWATER <br /> EIEIDTECHNOLOGY, INC. 4057 Port Chicago Highway,Concord CA 94520(4L5)6712387 <br /> FAX (415)685 9148 <br /> November 20, 1992 <br /> Project No 020502819 <br /> Mr Steve Schneider <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> 445 N San Joaquin Street <br /> Stockton, CA 95201 <br /> Dear Mr Schneider <br /> This work plan describes the proposed supplemental assessment work at the Manna Pro Facility located <br /> at 4004 S EI Dorado Street in Stockton, California, to establish the lateral extent of groundwater <br /> contamination This work plan Is being submitted as requested in the September 4, 1992 letter from San <br /> Joaquin County Public Health Services (PHS) to Mr Larry Chapman of Manna Pro Corporation <br /> Scone of Work , <br /> iFour additional groundwater monitoring wells, MW-7 through MW-10, will be installed to determine the <br /> lateral extent of groundwater contamination related to petroleum hydrocarbons that were stored in the <br /> former underground storage tanks on site The proposed locations are shown in Figure 1 The <br /> locations were selected based on groundwater gradient and groundwater concentration maps from the <br /> ERM-West, Inc Soil and Groundwater Investigation report dated December 1990 The well locations <br /> have been selected to be at or near the estimated perimeter of the gasoline plume in groundwater <br /> Permitting and Drdimg <br /> Permits to install four groundwater monitoring wells will be obtained from PHS In addition, because the <br /> location proposed for well MW-7 is off site and along the right of way for South EI Dorado Street, an <br /> encroachment permit will be obtained from the San Joaquin County Department of Public Works <br /> Four sod borings will be drilled using hollow-stem auger drilling techniques to approximately 10 feet <br /> below first encountered water levels The estimated total depth of the wells will be 55 feet below grade <br /> Drilling will be supervised by a Groundwater Technology geologist who will maintain a tog of the <br /> materials encountered according to the Unified Sod Classification System <br /> Offices throughout the US Canada and Overseas <br />
