The tank replacement <br /> is planned in conjunction with ARCO's facility upgrade and is not in _response to a known <br /> spill or leak at the site. We are submitting this work plan prior to tank replacement to <br /> obtain authorization from the San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental <br /> r Health Division (SJCPHS-EHD), to install subgrade components during the tank removal <br /> for use in a future vapor-extraction system (VES). The required documents will be <br /> submitted to the SJCPHS-EHD before proceeding with remediation. <br /> This document discusses (1) the results from the Jane 1991 and December 1991 drilling <br /> events, (2) the vapor-extraction feasibility test and (3) describes our field methods for the <br /> upcoming tank replacement project, and the installation of a interim vapor-extraction <br /> M3-4W <br />
