R <br /> HE <br /> - ��cg'..a. v,�,3 " _ _.,e s�...c... ::a �xafF ., f.- a• <br /> February 14. 1992 UNA <br /> ARCO Service Station No. 2130, Stockton, California <br /> SITE BACKGROUND <br /> ARCO Service Station No. 2130 is located at 7906 North EI Dorado Street in Stockton. <br /> California,as shown on the Site Vicinity Map (Plate 1). According to information supplied <br /> by ARCO,there are four underground storage tanks presently at the site. Two 4,000-gailon <br /> tanks and one 6,000-gallon tank store unleaded gasoline, and one 10,000-gallon tank stores <br /> super unleaded gasoline. The approximate locations of the tanks and present site features <br /> are shown on the Generalized Site Plan (Plate 2). <br /> REGIONAL GEOLOGY AND HYDROGEOLOGY <br /> The site area is underlain by the Lower Member of the Modesto Formation, which is of <br /> Pleistocene age. Sediments of this formation consist of unconsolidated clay, silt, and sand <br /> (Wagner, et al., 1987). ` <br /> The site is in the Eastern San Joaquin County Ground-Water Basin'California Department . <br /> of Water Resources, 1980). According to this reference, the ground-water basin has been <br /> ® developed for intensive irrigation,domestic, industrial, municipal,and stock use. Based on <br /> regional maps prepared from 1988 ground-water data by San Joaquin County Flood Control <br /> and Water Conservation District, the regional direction of groundwater flow is to the <br /> ® southwest. <br /> PROXIMITY OF WELLS AND UTILITIES <br /> It is our understanding from City of'Stockton personnel that the city of Stockton provides <br /> water and sanitary sewer for the site. Based on our search of utility records at the <br /> Department of Public Works, City of Stockton,water and sewer lines are located within 50 <br /> feet of the western property boundary of the site. No septic tanks or leachfields are located <br />
