A work plan for the proposed
investigation accompanied our 24 October 1997 application submittal. We are amending the
number of samples indicated in the work plan that will be analyzed from each boring. Given the
shallow depths of the soil borings(5 to 10 feet),we are proposing to analyze only one sample from
each soil boring, unless field screening indicates that deeper borings are warranted and additional
samples are appropriate.
We have arranged for the drilling to occur on November e and 5d, assuming that the County can
issue permits by that date. Please let us know as,soon as possible if this schedule is not feasible.
Sincerely yours,
HELMICK& LERNER INC.
xzt/ ICS
Noel M.
