Iroin Project 033016.00 <br /> Dear Mr. Davis: <br /> The assessment work discussed herein was conducted in accordance with the Environmental <br /> Assessment Work Plan dated October 6, 1992, prepared by W.W. Irwin and approved by the <br /> Environmental Health Division of the San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> (SJCP"S). This Interim Site Assessment Report includes the analytical results of soil <br /> samples collected July 20, 1993, from the overexcavation of the former tank pit located at <br /> Village West Marina, Stockton, California. The Excavation was conducted in order to <br /> remove soils impacted by petroleum hydrocarbon fuel products identified during the removal <br /> of three underground Storage tanks on April 21, 1992. Additionally, within this report, is <br /> the analytical laboratory data of a composite soil sample collected from the soil stockpile <br /> generated during the tank removal activities. <br /> :�1TF SUATING <br /> The property is located at 6649 Embarcadero Drive in Stockton, San Joaquin County, <br /> Californi,t and is situated on the delta levee of the section of the San Joaquin River called <br /> Fourteen Mile Slough (see Figure 1). The site includes a restaurant and an operational <br /> marina which dispenses fuel to boats. The adjacent properties consist of ether commercial <br /> businesses and residences. <br /> GEOLOGIC AND 11YDROGEOLOGIC. SETTING <br /> The site is locawt' on sloping, uneven terrain within the delta region of the San Joaquin <br /> River on Fourteen Mile Slough.
