N Quarterly Report - Third Quarter 2005 ENTERPRISE INVESTMENTS (Former J.B. Murphy Trucking) (( 355 Enterprise Place,Tracy, California �< f 1.0. INTRODUCTION t, k; At the request of Mr.Monty Warren of Enterprise Investments,Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc. 'i (AGE)has prepared this quarterly report for 355 Enterprise Place,Tracy, California(site). The site E ' and surrounding area are illustrated on Figure 1.Structures,borings,and well locations are illustrated on Figure 2. Site background information is provided in Appendix A. f 2.0. PROCEDURES Five ground water monitoring wells(MW-I through MW-5) and one ground water extraction well (EW-1) were monitored and sampled on 01 September 2005. Field work was performed in r accordance with guidelines issued by the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) for the investigation of underground storage tanks (UST) sites. j 2.1. WELL MONITORING AND PURGING A Solinst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water in wells MW-1 through MW-5 and EW-1 relative to the tops of the well casings. The ground water elevations and gradient were determined from this data(Table 1). After recording water level measurements, disposable plastic bailers were used to purge wells }' { MW-1, MW-3, MW-4 and MW-5 of standing water; a Waterra inertial pump was used to purge MW-2 and a 3-stage pump was used to purge EW-1 of standing water.Approximately 5 to b gallons of water (a minimum of three casing water volumes per well) were removed from wells MW-1, H MW-3,MW-4,and MW-5,approximately 12 gallons of water were removed from well MW-2,and approximately 54 gallons of water were removed from well EW-1. Ground water temperature,pH, and conductivity were measured at regular intervals during purging using an Oakton water analyzer. Purged ground water was containcrized in properly labeled, Department of Transportation (DOT)-approved 55-gallon drums and stored on-site.
