As was noted by Alan Biederman (Environmental Health
Division, San Joaquin Local Health District) on a visit in mid-
March, clean-up of the old facultative pond system was already
in progress and drainage of the pond begun. Cement pads and
new pumphouse facilities had been installed waiting for the
arrival of the new tanks and aerators which had already been
ordered. Arrival of the tanks is expected by no later than
April 25, 1988 with installation and start up beginning within
two weeks after receipt of the tanks. I am confident that this
new system will satisfy all concerns with regards to visual
and odor problems connected with the old facultative pond.
We appreciate your help over the past few months and welcome
you to observe the new water treatment program as soon as it
is operational. We greatly appreciate your cooperation and
look forward to continuing our good relationship.
Best regards,
Pat Mitchell, President
California Natural Products
PM:tf
cc: Mr. Alan Biermann
Page 2
