According to the ESA and information we reviewed <br /> from the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (SJCEHD) file for the <br /> site, an aboveground storage tank at the site had a release of petroleum hydrocarbons <br /> to groundwater in 1990. Although the release exceeded water quality objectives <br /> (WQOs), Water Board staff opted not to open a case for the release at that time. <br /> According to information we reviewed, CNP operated a soil vapor extraction system <br /> (SVES) during the early 1990s, but information regarding the amount of hydrocarbons it <br /> removed is not available.
