DER <br /> Total <br /> B'9M1 Fe PI N19M1tSolutlam. <br /> Total Kjeldahl Nitrogen (TKN) was detected in seven of the nine groundwater samples <br /> collected at this quarter at concentrations ranging from 0.30 to 0.60 mg/I. There is no <br /> RWQCB water quality goal for TKN. <br /> Total coliform organisms were detected in one of the three McKinley Avenue Rapid <br /> Infiltration Area wells W-1) with a concentration of 23 mpn/100ml and were not detected <br /> ' in any of the six Louise Avenue wells. Similarly, fecal coliform was only detected in W-1 <br /> with a concentration at 23 mpn/100ml. <br /> The groundwater flow direction in the vicinity of the Plant Area was to the <br /> south/southeast and the flow direction in the McKinley Avenue Rapid Infiltration Area <br /> was to the west. The groundwater flow direction in the Louise Avenue Application Areas <br /> was calculated to be towards the west/southwest. <br /> The annual vadose zone sampling was conducted on September 16, 2011. In general, <br /> ' a comparison of the soil analyses results collected from within the wastewater <br /> application areas with background samples, did not indicate significant impact to the <br /> Isoils in the application areas and were generally consistent with the findings of previous <br /> years.
