"TIONAL INFORMATION REQUIREMENTS <br /> CALIFORNIA NATURAL PRODUCTS <br /> LATHROP, SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> Please provide the following information: <br /> 1. A summary and evaluation of groundwater quality at all the land application areas related to the <br /> constituents in the wastewater, especially nitrate and dissolved solids. The evaluation must <br /> include a characterization of groundwater quality upgradient of the 10.1-acre land application <br /> area. <br /> 2. A review of the WDRs' findings that describe the products manufactured and wastewater <br /> generation sources and provide information on any changes. <br /> 3. Provide a description of how wastewater is generated, treated, stored, and applied to land. If <br /> wastewater treatment byproducts are hauled off-site,provide information on the amount of waste <br /> hauled and where it is disposed of. <br /> 4. Provide a description of how the wastewater system is protective of groundwater quality. <br /> 5. A conceptual description of wastewater application plans. At a minimum,the conceptual <br /> description shall include the following: <br /> a. Agronomic nutrient and water application rates. <br /> b. Handling of wastewater during rain events (if needed). <br /> c. The tailwater control and return system. <br /> d. How alternating wet/dry soil moisture conditions will be maintained in application areas. <br /> e. How odors will be controlled, and a contingency plan if odors are generated. <br /> f. The crops planned for all the seasons when wastewater will be applied. <br /> 6. Submit a monthly water balance demonstrating whether there is adequate disposal capacity for the <br /> 100-year return period total annual precipitation, including consideration of at least: <br /> a. Local evaporation data <br /> b. Local precipitation data <br /> c. Projected future wastewater loading rates <br /> d. Projected long-term percolation rates <br /> e. Projected irrigation usage rates <br /> 7.
