Contact the local fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control <br /> District for any applicable permits and requirements. <br /> 2. Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for approval <br /> prior to commencing work. All new addenda supersede the previous ones. <br /> 3. Contact Thuy Tran at (209) 468-8257 to arrange the following inspection appointments <br /> (a 48-hour notice is required for inspection appointments). <br /> a. Removal of tanks and piping <br /> b. Oversee soil and/or water sampling <br /> c. Verify Tank ID numbers are marked on the USTs <br /> 4. If the removed backfill material and/or soil is found to be contaminated it must be <br /> disposed of at an approved disposal location. Treatment of soil onsite can only be <br /> performed under a hazardous waste treatment permit. Work plan and fee must be <br /> submitted to EHD Site Mitigation Unit and work plan must be approved before initiating <br /> any assessment or remediation activities. <br /> 5. Inert USTs with 30 pounds of dry ice per 1,000 gallon volume after triple rinse pursuant <br /> to the permit application Section 8a. Be aware additional testing/monitoring to ensure <br /> tanks remain inerted may be required by Tracy Fire Department. <br /> 6. A copy of the submitted "Health and Safety Plan" must be on the jobsite for review. <br />
