I 1 July 2007
AGE -NC Project No. 03-1055
The 1973 Assessor's Office records note that a service station was located on the property.
former parcels 24 and 25, but the improvements were not assessed.
AGE"s research indicates that the property was operated by Tidewater Oil/Phillips Petroleum as a
gasoline service station from at least 1956 to 1971, when the lease was terminated; no later service
station use has been documented. Tidewater/Phillips leased the land and improvements and ,fames
L and/or Lenore Kelly were listed as the property owners of record during this time period. It appears
that Phillips Petroleum was the last known operator of the service station. The San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department has no removal records for the underground storage tanks (U STs).
Based upon the information collected, on behalf of Mr. Joseph Panetta. AGE, requests that the San
Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (SJCEHD) name Conoco -Phillips, successor to
Tidewater Oil Company and Phillips Petroleum, as a "responsible" party for the underground storage
tank investigation.
If you have any questions regarding this matter, please contact our office at (209) 467-1006.
Sincerely,
Adveed GeoEnvironmentai, Inc.
Jes a K.
