PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICES --c <br />SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br />ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH DIVISION <br />�: <1 <br />Karen Furst, M.D., M.P.H., Health Officer \ y= <br />304 East Weber Avenue, Third Floor • Stockton, CA 95202�� <br />209/468-3420 <br />PUBLIC NOTICE <br />NOTICE OF FINDINGS REGARDING <br />SITE MITIGATION PLAN <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a corrective action plan for remediation of a previously <br />leaking underground storage tank (UST) site located at 95 W. 11th Street, in the City of <br />Tracy (APN 233-130-26) on the northwest corner of West 11th Street and Adams <br />Street has been reviewed by San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental <br />Health Division (PHS-EHD). The plan is a proposal for mitigation of hazardous <br />substances (soil over -excavation and removal) which has contaminated the site from <br />an unauthorized release associated with the UST system previously located on the <br />property. <br />San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division, Local UST <br />Oversight Program, has made a tentative determination that the plan is in compliance <br />with local, State and Federal laws and regulations and that the resultant work will not <br />create significant adverse environmental impacts which exceed the benefits to be gained <br />from cleanup of the contamination. <br />The corrective action plan is available for public review at PHS-EHD, 304 E. Weber <br />Street, Third Floor, Stockton, California, during normal working hours, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 <br />p.m. If a written request by any member of the public is not received by PHS-EHD <br />by 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 11, 2000, the tentative decision shall become <br />final on that date and time. <br />All requests for public hearings must be filed in writing to PHS-EHD at 304 E. Weber <br />Ave., Third Floor, Stockton, 95202.
