L <br /> San Ramon,CA 94583-0804 <br /> Re: Site Summary and Closure Path Recommendations <br /> Former Chevron Station 9-0959 <br /> 103 West 11 th Street <br /> Tracy,California <br /> Dear Ms. Hodge: <br /> As you requested, Cambria Environmental Technology (Cambria) has reviewed the file for the site <br /> referenced above. Our objective was to evaluate whether additional investigation or corrective action is <br /> necessary to close the site. This report summarizes the site data and presents our recommendations. <br /> SITE HISTORY/BACKGROUND <br /> Site History <br /> The former Chevron service station is located at the comer of Eleventh Street and Adams Street in Tracy, <br /> California(Attachment A). In January 1992, a waste oil tank was removed from the site. In July 1993, <br /> the service station was demolished and the gasoline underground storage tanks(UST),pump islands and <br /> piping were removed. Five other tanks that were discovered during this excavation were also removed <br /> CAMBRIA from the site. To date,eight soil borings have been drilled and five monitoring wells have been installed <br /> on and off site. The site is currently a vacant lot. <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL <br /> TECHNOLOG7,INC. Tank History <br /> 114465TH STREET, <br /> Date(s)Removed: The waste oil tank was removed on January 8, 1992 and three gasoline storage tanks <br /> SUITE B and five additional tanks were removed on July 8, 1993. <br /> OAKLAND, <br /> Number and Size of Tanks: The 1992 excavation to the north of the station building removed one 550- <br /> CA 94608 gallon, single wall, waste oil tank. The 1993 excavation was used to remove one 10,000-gallon regular <br /> 310i42a0700 unleaded gasoline tank,one 10,000-gallon regular gasoline tank, and one 5,000-gallon supreme gasoline <br /> FAx:(IP4249170 <br />
