August 10, 1993 <br />Chevron USA Inc <br />P O Box 5004 <br />San Ramon, Caldomia 94583 <br />Attn Mr Ken Kan <br />RE Observation report - tank pull <br />Chevron Station No 0959 <br />The following report summarizes the field activities and laboratory results of <br />samples taken during the removal of three underground storage tanks and five <br />tanks of unknown location prior to excavation at 103 West Eleventh Street, <br />Tracy, California Observations have been identified in chronological order, with <br />supporting documentation following <br />SITE <br />At the time of these activities, the tank pit had been excavated and tanks <br />uncovered by Golden West The three known tanks were in good condition in <br />the pit The fere additional tanks had been damaged during the excavation <br />process There were three locations of stockpiled soil These locations have <br />been labeled SP 13, SP 14 and SP 17 The existing three monitoring wells had <br />been marked with cones to prevent any damage to these wells. The location of <br />the hydraulic Irft, as removed, was also marked by a cone The site was fenced <br />on two sides with buildings on the other two sides All underground product lines <br />had been excavated and stockpiled Broken concrete was stockpiled in two <br />locations. Drums with water rinseate were stored on site <br />
