Borehole Abandonment <br />Direct -push soil borings will be abandoned by backfilling the borehole with neat cement <br />grout. The surface of soil borings in areas within improved areas will be covered first with a <br />neat cement grout and then asphaltic cold patch to match existing conditions. <br />3.5. Site Assessment -Derived Waste Management <br />3.5.1. Soil Cuttings Management <br />Direct -push boring soil cuttings methods will generate de minimis amounts of soil <br />cuttings. Therefore management of soil cuttings is unnecessary. <br />Expendable investigative waste (i.e. gloves and paper towels) generated during the field <br />effort will be considered solid waste. These articles will be placed in trash bags and <br />placed in trash containers located at the Site. <br />3.5.2. Purge and Development Water Management <br />Temporary wells will be constructed in the open soil borings. Groundwater grab <br />samples will be collected from the temporary wells and large amounts of purge water will <br />not be generated. <br />4. SCHEDULE <br />Giles assumes that In -Shape Health Clubs will make the necessary arrangements for access to <br />the referenced property. Giles anticipates that the soil and groundwater sampling will take <br />approximately one day. The soil and groundwater sample results are anticipated to be available <br />seven to ten business days from the date the samples were received at the laboratory. The <br />results will be verbally communicated to In -Shape Health Clubs upon receipt and data <br />verification.
