The Contractor shall replace or repair disturbed soil surfaces to match <br /> their original conditions. <br /> Subsidence of the disturbed surface shall be the responsibility of the <br /> Contractor and corrective measures shall be made by the Contractor <br /> forthwith: <br /> 1. Damage to existing facilities is the responsibility of the Contractor <br /> and corrective measures shall be taken to bring such facility back to <br /> its original condition. <br /> m. The cost of performing Item No. 8 above shall not exceed $ <br /> 9. Contractor shall remove, transport and dispose of any product remaining <br /> in the tank at a cost not to exceed $ <br /> 10. The Contractor shall replace the removed concrete and/or pavement back <br /> to it's original condition at a cost not to exceed $ <br /> 11. a. If required by the local jurisdiction, the Contractor shall take two <br /> soil and/or groundwater samples, one from each end of the tank, at <br /> elevation of three (3) feet directly below the bottom of the tank. <br /> b. The Contractor shall have all samples analyzed by a certified laboratory <br /> acceptable to the appropriate local jurisdiction and the Regional Water <br /> Quality Control Board for the total petroleum hydrocarbon, benzene, <br /> toluene, xylene and total organic lead content. <br /> c. Sampling, preservation and analysis shall be done in accordance with the <br /> requirements of the appropriate local jurisdiction and the Regional <br /> Water Quality Control Board. <br /> d. The cost of analysis of such samples is not included in this contract. <br />
