1.0 INTRODUCTION
Conestoga-Rovers & Associates (CRA) prepared this work plan on behalf of Equilon
Enterprises LLC dba Shell Oil Products US (Shell). The proposed well destructions are
required for final case closure.
The subject property is an active independent Shell-branded service station located on
the northwest side of Waterloo Road near Piccoli Road in a mixed industrial and
agricultural area in Stockton, California (Figure 1). The station layout includes four
dispensers and a fuel underground storage tank(UST) complex(Figure 2).
2.0 PROPOSED SCOPE OF WORK
2.1 PERMITS
CRA will obtain appropriate drilling permits from the San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department(SJCEHD).
2.2 HEALTH AND SITE SAFETY PLAN (HASP)
CRA will prepare a HASP to protect site workers. The plan will be kept on site during
field activities and will be reviewed and signed by each site worker.
2.3 UTILITY CLEARANCE
CRA will mark proposed drilling locations, and the locations will be cleared through
Underground Service Alert and a private line locator prior to drilling.
2.4 MONITORING WELL DESTRUCTION
CRA proposes to properly destroy ten monitoring wells (MW-1 through MW-10). Well
logs are presented in AppendixA.
The wells will be destroyed by a C-57 licensed driller, working under the direction of a
professional geologist or engineer.
2413:9(22) CONESTOGA-ROVFRR R A.cslnr IATcc
