Partiall Buried and Bunkered Storage Tanks - 40 CFR 112 . 8 ( c) ( 5 ) <br /> This section is not applicable as no partially buried or bunkered storage tanks are at this <br /> facility . <br /> 4 . 2 . 6 . Inspect ons and Tests - 40 CFR 112 . 8 ( c) (6 ) <br /> Facility perso nel conduct weekly , undocumented , visual inspections of ASTs in <br /> accordance with Section 3 . 7 . of this SPCCP . Leaks from tank seams , gaskets , rivets , and <br /> bolts are promptly corrected . Monthly and annual inspections are documented utilizing <br /> the inspection form included in Appendix B . Records of inspections and tests are signed <br /> by the inspector and kept at the facility for at least three years , unless otherwise specified . <br /> The scope and schedule of certified inspections and tests performed on the facility ' s ASTs <br /> are specified in STI Standard SP - 001 . The external inspection may include visual <br /> observations , ultrasonic testing of the shell , as specified in the standard , or if <br /> recommended by the certified tank inspector to assess the integrity of the tank for <br /> continued oil torage , with actual inspection type depending on facility management . <br /> Currently facil ty management has deemed that visual inspection are sufficient as it <br /> pertains to ASTs at this facility . Table 8 summarizes inspections and tests performed on <br /> ASTs . RecordO of certified tank inspections are kept at the facility for at least three years . <br /> Shell test corn arison records are retained for the life of the tanks . <br /> 4 . 2 . 7 . Heating Coils - 40 CFR 112 . 8 ( c) ( 7 ) <br /> This section is not applicable since there are no ASTs equipped with heating coils at this <br /> facility . <br /> 4 . 2 . 8 . Overfill Prevention Systems - 40 CFR 112 . 8 ( c) ( 8) <br /> All ASTs are cbserved utilizing a manual method in the prevention of overfill ( i . e . gauge <br /> stick) . Facility tanker trailer loading and unloading operations are performed solely by <br /> facility person el trained in proper discharge prevention procedures . Venting capacity is <br /> suitable for fill nd withdrawal rates . <br /> The emergen y shut off switch is clearly marked and visible with appropriate location <br /> signs . <br /> Facility personnel are present throughout the filling operations to monitor thep roduct level <br /> in the tanks . <br />
