April 26, 2001 Work plan approved by PHS-EHD on 3-19-01 enacted today and SB-8, 9, & 10 and CPT#1 and CPT#2 installed today. i June 8, 2001 WEGE, submits report of findings for April 26, 2001 field sampling event. Groundwater samples collected from top (48'- 52' bgs) and bottom (84'-88') of"A" zone and from the top (94'- 98' bgs) and bottom (116'-120') of the "B" zone. TPH-g and Benzene non-detect from all zones. MtBE in "A" zone only and at 18 µg/I in the top and 1.2 µg/I in the bottom zone of the "B" aquifer. WEGE concludes NFA is warranted and requests wells allowed to be destroyed. June 20, 2001 CVRWQCB accepts conclusion for NFA in LOP meeting and requests resubmittal of NFA documents. July 19, 2001 Updated Case Closure Summary, Chronology, and modified "30-day letter" re-submitted to CVRWQCB. August 20, 2001 CVRWQCB concurs with NFA in letter to PHS-EHD. September 25-28 Well decommissioning activities begin and end. All wells 2001 properly destroyed. No wells remain. November 26, 2001 WEGE's "Execution of Work Plan" November 6, 2001 report i reviewed. All soils hauled to Forward. All requirements for NFA I met. Case Closure Summary, chronology, and MFR updated. !I Official NFA letter generated. Sweeps updated to 35.28, "Closed LOP". November 29, 2001 Official NFA signed this date and mailed to RP. Site closed-No Further Action. i
