•
7 . Ethylene DiBromide (EDB) does not exist in the soil or
ground water beneath this site.
8 . A Bouwer and Rice Slug Test performed on the monitor
wells of this site indicated hydraulic conductivities
"K" and velocities "V" of a silty to fine clean sand
aquifer, with an effective porosity of 220.
RECOMMENDATIONS
1 . Obtain the water discharge permit to the City of
Stockton sewer.
2. Manifold monitor well MW-10 to the treatment area for
use as a vapor extraction well.
3. Perform a pilot test, using a RSI S .A.V.E. ( SPRAY;
AERATOR; VACUUM; EXTRACTION) system for the treatment of
the ground water and extraction and destruction of the
gasoline range vapors.
. 4 . Obtain the necessary permits from San Joaquin County Air
Quality ; Permit to Construct and Operate the system.
5 . During the August quarterly sampling of the site, obtain
ground water samples for the analysis of "fecal
coliform" , along with the TPH and BTEX analysis as
requested by the San Joaquin County Public Health letter
dated June 8 , 1990 letter received.
6. Perform a 72 hour aquifer test during the pilot test
for the RSI S .A.V.E. system.
Since the above report, WEGE has performed the November, 1990
quarterly ground water sampling and collected data for methods of
ground water and vapor treatment. In addition water analysis was
performed for "fecal coliform" contamination, to satisfy San
Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health
Division (PHS/EHD) Special Permit policy. Monitor well MW10 has
also been manifolded to the treatment compound.
2.0 GROUND WATER
2 .1 REGIONAL AND LOCAL GROUND WATER FLOW
Ground water flow direction in this region is to the west and
towards south Stockton from the foothills of the Sierra Nevada
Mountain Ranges , and towards the east from the Sacramento-San
2
