JULY 26, 1993
PUBLIC NOTICE
NOTICE OF FINDINGS REGARDING
SITE MITIGATION PLAN
NOTICE IS I-IEREBY GIVEN that a corrective action plan for remediation of an
underground leaking storage tank site located at 515 W. Eleventh, in the City of Tracy, has
been reviewed by San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health
Division (PHS/EHD). The plan is a proposal for the re-excavation of approximately 200
cubic yards of soil which was contaminated due to unauthorized releases associated with
underground storage tanks (UST) which were located on the property.
PHS/EHD, Local UST Oversight Program, has made a tenative determination that the plan
is in compliance with local, State and Federal laws and regulations and that the resultant
work will not create significant adverse environmental impacts which exceed the benefits to
be gained from cleanup of the contamination. The tenative decision will become final on
August 9, 1993.
The corrective action plan is available for public review at the PHS/EHD, 445 N. San
Joaquin Street, Stockton, Calffornfa, during normal working hours, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Questions should be directed to Margaret Lagorio, Senior REHS, at (209) 468-3449
regarding site specific procedures.
