Qw Page I of 1
Mike Infurna [EH]
From: John Lynch [lynch @inreach.com]
Sent: Wednesday, December 10, 2003 2:42 PM
To: Gary Cox; Janice Brown; Dennis Cox
Cc: Jeff Downs; Mike Infurna [EH]
Subject: Cox and Cox Status Report 12-10-03
Importance: High
We now have all contract documents in place and are working on the schedule and will begin utility
relocation work soon. Jeff Downs and I are working on scheduling the work around and after we obtain
well destruction permits, the weather and other commitments for other clients we are now finishing up
on.
It should come as no surprise that we will not get started until after the 5th of January with digging the
contaminated soil. However, we have completed the subsurface utility location work and can now
proceed with the relocation of the water line by MW-9 in conjunction with collection of our last soil
characterization samples required for disposal work. I will coordinate with Earl on disruption of the
water service to the tenants in order to relocate the service for digging the contaminated soil.
We now know precisely where the 48-inch irrigation is(under the east end of the trailers) and the 24-
inch sewer trunk line for the south side of town (just in front of welding shop). Therefore we will
confine our digging to between those two utilities (a distance of about 14-feet) while allowing certain
utilities (gas service and phone) to span the pit(with support).
A draft schedule will be mailed by next week to each of you and to Mike Infuma at EHD.
A Merry Christmas to all of you.
Thank you for your patience.
John Lynch
Cc Earl Breinstein, Firestone Tire Store
12/10/2003
