pressure grouting are very clear and listed in the attached exerpt from the SJ
County Well Standards. Basic State law is included also in the 8 page
attachment, but just scroll down to pages 7 & 8 and become familiar with
sections 13.17.12 and 13.17.13. Be sure your driller is prepared to provide
(Brenda?).
Also, wells casings must be clear/unobstructed to depth of installation +- one foot
before pressure grouting may occur. Ensure casings are OPEN to TD. I
recommend someone actually TAG each well before we all get there to start the
work and match it to the bore log. Obstructed wells/wells with too much fill in
may be water jetted to clear/provide access to all of the screen. Obstructions that
can't be removed or that reduce the total depth of the well by over one foot or
more must be cleared prior to grouting or the well must be overbored. I will tag
each well before we start.
get me a date you plan on doing this. I must be onsite for all destructions.
John, confirm this email and I'll issue the permit.
f
•
I
I
7/14/2009
