fi Wright �N Environmental Services, Inc. g Construction ♦ Engineerings Remediation 00 SE:T 2Fill 0. 25 August 30, 2000 Project No 4090-P Mrs Janice Brown C/o Cox & Cox 1593 Arrowhead Drive St Helena, CA 94574 ��.t4'o A,1 Re- Cox & Cor 595 East 11`h Street Tracy, CA 95376 Work Plan Dear firs Brown Wright Environmental Services Inc (Wright) will perform the work noted in the following work plan at the above referenced site iField Methods Exploratory Borings Ft%e exploratory borings will be drilled at the site Three additional borings were scheduled to be drilled in the previously approved work plan however, these borings were postponed due to difficult drilling conditions and a field modification of the work plan approach Drilling permits will be secured from the PHS-EHD, and all utilities will be cleared prior to doing the fieldwork, as required by representatives of the Westside Irrigation District and City of Tracy, these representatives will be present to direct in the field where boreholes should be placed 1 It is anticipated that the borings will be advanced to depths of 30 to 40 feet One boring will be advanced through the former tank pit The borings will be drilled through the uppermost aquifer strata to the contact of and into the underlying confining strata treferred to as the aquitard strata in previous reports) Moderate to severe flowing conditions were encountered in some previous boreholes, which required drilling methods to be alternated between push and auger drilling depending upon the severity of the flowing conditions PLEASE NOTE that flowing conditions may preclude advancing a boring to its design depth 67 E 10th Street .
