A water <br /> tight 123.nch diameter traffic box will be placed over the well <br /> casing for traffic protection. Secur;ty of the well wit= be <br /> provided by a locked two inch thermos cap at the the top of <br /> casing. <br /> WELL DEVELOPMENT <br /> Upon completion of the well, it will be surged and bailed for <br /> development, using a surge block to agitate the sand pack and <br /> ground water. A centrifugal pump will be used to purge the well <br /> until relatively sediment free water is produced. <br /> STORAGE OF CUTTINGS, PURGED GROUND WATER AND RINSATES <br /> All cuttings produced from the sample borings and installation of <br /> MW4 will be .contained on and covered with 4 mill polyethylene <br /> liner and stored in the locked compound behind the store. All <br /> rinsate and purged ground water will also be contained on site in <br /> labeled 55 gallon drums. <br /> DESTRUCTION OF SAMPLE BORINGS <br /> All sample borings will be destroyed using a neat cement with 5% <br /> bentonite mixture and the surface will be patched to match the <br /> pre-existing conditions: asphalt, concrete, etc. <br /> DISPOSAL OF EXCAVATED SOIL AND PURGED WATER-RINSATE <br /> Upon obtaining laboratory results, the contained soil and water <br /> will be disposed of in accordance to the State of California and <br /> County of San Joaquin guidelines. <br /> REPORT OF FINDINGS <br /> At the completion of this investigation a report of the findings <br /> will be submitted to Desert Petroleum for their review. Once <br /> Desert is satisfied as to the completeness of this investigation, <br /> they will issue Western Geo--Engineers a statement as to their <br /> approval for the d-stribution of the report. <br /> This investigation is being <br /> erfor ed undedrillthe <br /> wdirect <br /> supervision of Ca. Reg.
