Hunter & Associates for
the above referenced site. Investigative excavation proposed at this site shall include
sampling of water and soil at the bottom of the excavation. As per my phone
conversation with Mr_ Hunter on February 18, 1998, one water sample at the bottom of
the excavation must be obtained as well as a soil sample approximately every 20 linear
feet (or as instructed by on site EHD inspector). These samples are required to be
analysed for BTEX, TPHg, TEPH and oxygenated compounds (see attached letter).
If you have further questions regarding this letter contact Carol Oz, REHS, at (209) 468-
3440. An appointment for EHD inspection is required 48 hours in advance of excavation
work.
ii
a
A
!i
Donna Heran, REHS
Director of Environmental Health
I
Carol Oz, Senior REHS -Margaret Lagorio, REHS
Site Mitigation Unit Supervisor
cc: RWQCB, Central Valley Region,Pat Anderson
William J.
