Once the nature and extent of <br /> contamina?ion has been determined,additional work on site will be met with the proper <br /> precautions. <br /> 4 <br /> .y 5.1 Workers Health and Safety <br /> 5.1.1 Work Space Safety <br /> ' The perimeter of the work space should,if possible,be 20 feet from the drilling <br /> y rig or excavation site. The working perimeter will be marked by brightly <br /> colored delineators. All unauthorized personnel will not allowed access into <br /> j the work space. <br /> i • <br /> The project supervisor will coordinate all field activities and maintain the <br /> safest possible working environment at all times. If an emergency occurs,the i <br /> S � <br /> supervisor will immediately contact the}roper authorities. <br /> 7. <br /> 5.1.2 Skin and Head Protection <br /> Disposable suits,boots,and glovMs will be worn when the working conditions <br /> require such precautions. <br /> Disposable plastic gloves will be worn at all times during soil and ground water <br /> w; sampling. The gloves will be changed after each sample has been collected. <br /> b <br /> Used disposable clothing will be properly discarded at the end of each working <br /> r.
