This report discusses the field exploration, <br /> ' geology and hydrology of the site; methods used during tim study and the laboratory <br /> analysis. It also integrates field observations and lab data to determine source, <br /> r <br /> 7- <br /> migration path, and distribution of the contaminants, and makes recommendations for <br /> t <br /> �+ future action. <br /> Location and Slte Qescrintion <br /> The subject property is located in Tracy on the north side of 11th Street, east of Lamb <br /> Alley (Figure 1). The property contains two buildings. Justoff the northwest corner of <br /> the property is a city water well that is 900 feet deep. This well produces at 1500 gpm <br /> and has a standing water level (piezometric surface) of 65 feet. Across 11th Street to <br /> t I the south is a Mobile service station, bus station and shopping center, to the east and <br /> west are auto repair shops: To the north the property is bounded by an open field and <br /> t then a residential district. A buried irrigation pipeline runs diagonal from the northeast <br /> to the southwest across the northwest portion of the property. <br /> The site was previously used as a gasoline service station and automobile repair shop. In = <br /> ! 1980 two 10,000 gallon underground fuel tanks and one 500 gallon waste oil tank were <br /> removed by World Enterprises in accordance with San Joaquin County regulations. <br /> A Currently the property is being used as an automobile sales lot and does not store or <br /> generate any hazardous waste. <br /> I <br /> Summary <br /> The information gathered during the field investigation and laboratory analysis is <br /> summarized below.
