An encroachment permit shall be required for work within road right-of-way. (Development Title <br /> Sections 9-1145.4 and 9-1145.5) <br /> 2. A detention pond/terminal drainage system shall be provided to meet the requirements of the County <br /> and to provide adequate drainage for the development. Hydrologic and hydraulic analyses shall <br /> demonstrate that all property, both downstream and upstream of the discharge, will not be subject to a <br /> higher flood level as a result of the proposed drainage. (Development Title Section 9-1135.2) <br /> 3. Flood Hazard reduction: Uses and structures within Floodways. Uses and structures shall be subject <br /> to the following flood hazard reduction standards: <br /> a. Anchorin;: All structures within floodways shall be constructed so as to remain during the <br /> one hundred (100)year flood, except those subject to an Evacuation plan as specified in <br /> Chapter 9-845. <br /> b. Obstruction of the Floodway: All structures shall be designed to allow free passage of <br /> floodwaters and minimize catching of debris. <br /> c. Encroachments: Any encroachments, including fill,new construction, substantial <br /> improvements, and other development shall be prohibited unless certification is provided by a <br /> registered civil engineer demonstration that encroachments will jot result in any increase in <br /> flood levels during the occurrence of the one hundred(100) year flood discharge. <br /> (Development Title Section 9-1605.16) <br /> 4. The expansion of the lake shall meet the following requirements: <br /> a. Structures Prohibited Within_Floodways: All Structures are prohibited within floodways, <br /> except that the structures listed below are allowed, if certification by a registered civil <br /> engineer demonstrating that encroachments will not result in any increase in flood levels <br /> during the occurrence of the one hundred (100)year flood discharge and all other Floodplain <br /> Management provisions are satisfied: <br /> i. Pumps, siphons, and appurtenances; <br /> ii. Fences, walls, signs, and other appurtenances; <br /> iii. Public and private docks, wharves, piers and boat launching Ramps; <br /> iv. Marinas, including ramps, gas pumps of docks, and other structures which must be <br /> located on , above, or immediately adjacent to watercourse,provided there is no <br /> alternative to location in a floodway; <br /> v. Pilings and other support structures; <br /> A. Railroads, pipelines,utility lines, and public improvements such as roads and streets; <br /> and <br /> vii.
