The complete text of the
r" proposed Development Title amendment is contained in Appendix B.
Proposed County Zone Reclassification
F The proposed zone reclassification entails modifying existing zoning classifications within
the Master Plan area to be consistent with the proposed General Plan and Development Title
amendments. Existing zones of Public(P), Industrial Park(I-P),Commercial Recreation(C-R), and
FFreeway Service Commercial (C-FS)(as indicated in Figure 3-8)would be rezoned to Airport Multi-
Use (AP/X) and Public Facilities (P-F), as indicated in Figure
3-7. The zoning will not change for the 3.3-acre parcel located
Fin the southwest quadrant of the Arch-Airport Road/SR 99 interchange, which is outside the airport
property and is privately owned. Table 3-3 describes typical uses allowed and existing and proposed
acreages under each zone. This designation provides for a wide variety
I of industrial uses. However, the County's more restrictive land use designation will govern uses on
f the site. The change is being made to bring the General Plan Land Use/Circulation Diagram/
designations into accord with the proposed land uses, which will permit the City to provide water °
and wastewater services to the airport.
s
r
1
1 ,
Ft
s
Stockton Metropolitan Airport Project Chapter 3, Project Description
Draft Environmental Impact Report 3-9 March 20, 1998
